Well, I don’t know about you guys, but for me, August went as fast as the wind. For this September 2020 Bullet Journal Setup, I wasn’t really planning on going with a theme. I picked my supplies with the idea of a minimalistic spread with some color accents here and there. As you can see from the thumbnail of this post, it went differently. September 2020 Bullet Journal Setup’s theme turned out to revolve around stationery. I’ll tell you why when we get to my inspiration point.
Remember that there’s a post with my Bullet Journal Essentials if you want to know about what are the supplies that I use or go to The Bullet Journal Essentials Kit I made at kit.co.
Log, Goals, To-Do & Quote
This was the last page that I decorated. As usual, it holds my monthly log to add holidays and birthdays.
A little section to put the goals for the month that I will be breaking down in my September Life Monthly Planning Post, a to-do list section with a loose-leaf paper design and the quote of the month which is “Work smarter, not harder”.
The reason why I chose that quote is that I just started uni and want to make sure that I’m spending my time efficiently.
School Calendar
This page turned out pretty simple. Aside from having the end of the pencil, I added at the log page, it is a pretty plain page that I’m planning to fill as the month goes on.
The reason why the days have a line in the middle is that at the top I will be writing my classes for that day, and major assignments in the bottom with a color-coded key I will be creating and jotting down in the blank space above the calendar.
Habit Tracker & Gratitude Log
My habit tracker is divided into 3 sections, the personal habits tracker, the learning tracker that I use to log in the moments in which I take a course or a class in a topic that I’m interested in like language learning, marketing, etc.
At the bottom, is the task tracker. The reason why it is dotted rather than graph is because I will be making a circle on the tasks that I will be doing that specific day and check on it when it’s done. I created this log since I have some tasks that are repetitive on either a weekly or daily basis. The gratitude log is just a numbered list for the days.
Now we get to the deco of this page. If you follow me on Instagram, a few days ago, I posted in my stories the announcement that The Happy Planner made of an upcoming collection that will be Disney themed. I freaked out because as you may have realized from my planning posts, I love The Happy Planner’s discbound system with the big punch and expander discs and I love Disney.
There came the idea to fill this spread with The Happy Planner discs with Mickey’s outline. As you can see, I didn’t put much into the doodles. Throughout the spreads, I made simple colored outlines and filled them with a variety of colors without worrying about shading or anything like that. This was just a simple design that I made for fun.
Weekly Goals Spread
In August, I made a weekly goals spread but now that I’ve started uni, I realized that I will be needing space to add weekly college tasks. I have certain assignments that are repeated on a weekly basis and I thought this spread would be useful to add them in.
I did a simple journal outline and colored in the covers. The left side will be used for personal weekly goals and the college tasks will be on the right.
