March has come and I’m honestly really excited about all the things I have planned to do throughout the month. Here we have my Life Monthly Planning for March. In this series of posts I go through all of my life goals: yearly, quarterly and monthly to set up my goals for the upcoming month and determine a focus for the whole month. I will also be migrating every to-do that wasn’t done the previous month in my master to-do list for March’s Bullet Journal.

Review

The first thing I like to do before setting up my goals for the month is to check out my quarterly goals and how much of them I have achieved so far and what goals I would like to keep up and need to get ahead for. I do this reviewing in my bullet journal. If you are interested in a post of my whole review process feel free to let me know in the comments.

Goal Setting

After reviewing what I have done, I will set what I need to do for the month. I try to limit my monthly goals up to 5 so that I don’t lose my focus and feel overwhelmed with the magnitude of each goal. I also try to set up goals in different aspects of my life such as self-care, creative and academic.

My goals for March are:

  • Rebranding BY= Though I like my website and the overall design of it it has now I want to still make it better because I know the design can improve and be more user-friendly. This goal goes into the creative category and it is sort of the biggest goal for March.
  • Read 5-7 Books= In February I didn’t read as much as I wanted to because life happens and as the professional procrastinator that I am, I didn’t do well in the reading department but be assured that I am excited for March and will re-do my reading habit establishment routine if needed. I’m planning of finishing reading the rest of the Chronicles of Narnia books series by C.S. Lewis and maybe start reading the Divergent four book series by Veronica Roth.
  • Study Korean= For the ones who don’t know, I’m studying Korean by myself and I just love learning new things and new languages. If you are interested in a post on how I started learning Korean with free online resources and how I plan and track my progress let me know.
  • Keep Up Meditation and Yoga= This goal goes more into the self-care department. I started doing yoga last month(very easy and beginner yoga) and I believe that it would be good and healthy for me to keep it up and meditating is already in my self-care routine but I tend to forget about it if I don’t set it up as a goal and track it in my habit tracker to see my progress.
  • Camp NaNoWriMo= There’s this event/ challenge called NaNoWriMo that stands for National Novel Writing Month and it takes place in November of each year with a goal for writers around the globe to write 50,000 words of a novel in 30 days. Well, we are not near November and I know that but they also created what is known as Camp NaNoWriMo and these take place in April and July and they are more flexible for progress tracking. In traditional NaNo, the only goal you put is the 50,000 words but in Camp NaNo, you can track up your writing goals with other type of projects like scripts, poems and essays. I will be working in my fantasy series but track my progress in time and not in words because I’m planning to prep for the first draft. I will also make sure to write a blog post on how I’m planning to prep for it all.

BY Content Planning

Aside from setting up my goals, I also like to plan my content for the whole month in terms of blog posts and social media posts. I created some templates in Excel for BY content planning and put it in my business planner you can check out in my 2020 Planner and Journal Line Up.

That’s it for this month’s prep. I hope you have a great March and that you complete all your goals to lead to a happier life.
