I know every month and every moment, in general, can be a new beginning, but January just hits different and feels like a new beginning to a whole other level. That’s why, for this month, I decided to go all out and try new spreads that could be a hit or a miss. Here is the January 2022 Bullet Journal Setup.
As usual, you can find everything used in this setup aside from the journal I made myself in my bullet journal essentials blog post, or check out the products directly at my bullet journal kit on kit.co.
Also, soon I’ll be posting a video taking you through my process of creating my bullet journal notebook and you can check it out on my YouTube channel here.
Month’s Goals Breakdown
This is one of the spreads that I’ll be trying out for the first time and I’m not really sure how it’s going to go but I hope it’s helpful throughout the month.
Basically, it consists of 3 columns, one column has one row since it’s for the goals that I’ll be working on for the month. The second column is divided into the number of weeks that this month has and each week will have different, or maybe the same, weekly goals.
The last column will be for daily goals and for this one, I won’t be so strict, if today I completed goals that applied for 2 different days, I will check them off even if I didn’t complete them when I had planned.
On the blank sidebar that’s on the left side of this spread, I may do doodles or add little to-do lists for the month but I haven’t decided that yet. (I’ll probably do the to-do list though)
Habit & Tasks Logs & Trackers (+ New Finds)
Since I’ll be doing my gratitude log on another journal, this month’s tracker page is a bit different.
The personal habit tracker is the same, as well as the creative task log and school task log in which I will be writing down a circle and checking it off on the days that I have to complete that respective task.
On the sidebar that the gratitude log used to go, I put a new finds section for me to fill out as the month progresses. For that, there’s a section for books, movies, podcasts, and tv shows.
Content Brainstorm & Checklist
In December, I realized that I could use a brainstorming page for content ideas since they are constantly coming up and I don’t always want to reach for my phone to jot down the idea right away.
This brainstorming page is divided into a section for YouTube, Blog Posts, Instagram, TikTok, and Extras. Extras could be anything from other creative projects to admin tasks regarding the website.
Lastly, but certainly not least, we have the content creation checklist. The columns on the right are for me to check off the platform that the piece of content is going to and the columns on the right, are the different stages the pieces of content can go through.
I don’t know how much I’ll be using this spread but you’ll see next month if I bring it back or adjust it.
So that’s it for today’s blog post which I hope you liked and found helpful.
